Lucas is HERE!!!

Finally the day has come.. I was worse than a kid waiting to go to Disney World, I couldn't sleep.. I finally fell asleep after 2 and was up at 4:45 and we left our house at 5:15 and off we went. We got to the airport just as Lucas was arriving at the gate and then heading to customs, we waited about 30mins or so and he finally was here. Charlie and Alison ran to hug him. Craig and I got our hugs and we were off to the car. We stopped at I-Hop for Breakfast on our way home and we are now home and taking it slow.

The time has finally come....

We have 1 day before Lucas arrives, he leaves tonight at 9 Brazil time. So bright and early in the morning (and I mean bright and early) we will be on our way to the airport to finally pick up Lucas.

I love my Hubby!!!

After a long week of VBS and Roundup (morning and night VBS) I was WORN OUT BIG TIME, and then a baseball game, errands, and birthday parties, I was done.. I went and bought some steak and he made dinner and this momma enjoyed some R&R in our room watching tv, and had some nice wine in my cool wine glass "DIVA" glass from my stepmom..

Thanks honey for the night off to relax, regroup and re-everything... This momma is back and ready to tackle this coming week..

Fun with Cousin Lucas

Lucas came and spent the night with us on Friday afternoon. The kids all played at home and then Friday night we headed to the Frisco Rough Rider's game with our church for Family Night. And after the game we headed to get Ice Cream, and then home for bed and we got to bed late.. Then on Saturday afternoon we took Lucas home. We meet my brother and SIL at my mom's and then after that we headed to my grandmothers and then ran some errands and to a birthday party.

CCity Roundup

This week our church, COC Metro has put on an amazing CCity Roundup (VBS type camp) and it's been great... I loved seeing all the kids, the parents, leaders, volunteers and wonderful Children's Ministry..

Great News!!

First of all, Lucas is now coming on his orginal flght date, so Lucas will arrive on July 30th, only 9 more days!!!!!

Second, my nephew Lucas is coming this Friday to spend the night and go to the Rough Rider Game. Can't wait to play and have fun with my kids and my nephew.. They are so excited to have Lucas over...

Getting bad about posting... sorry

Last week was so busy that I never ever posted. The kids have Vacation Bible School all week. Then my friend from high school, Franchesca and her two girls came for a couple of days and stayed with us. Long nights talking and catching up, sadly we hadn't seen each other since our high school reuion back in 2003. Thank Goodness for Facebook. I also have been real busy signing up families for hosting exchange students. I am so excited and can't wait to meet all the kids and to see Lucas...

I am getting ready for a even busier week with the kids... Charlie and Alison have Art Camp, in the morning all week. Then lunch and rest time. and then time to get ready for our Church's VBS, we so can't wait. It's going to be an amazing week.

Lucas will be here soon, was 13 days but now he won't be coming in on the 30th but now Aug 4th or 5th, since he is now going to Disney with his girlfriend and her family, kinda sad and bummed about it. We have been counting down the days since January. Oh Well that is life, I will have to go with the flow.. Charlie and Alison won't be able to go with us to pick him up, depends on the flight time since they are are Pine Cove Camp all day, thanks to my dad and stepmom..

Missing our Matheus, feel so blessed to have had him in our lives. And I enjoy talking to him through MSN, Skype and Facebook.. Hope to see you soon Matheus, we all love and miss you tons.

Planning a trip to Disney with the family in April. SO I can't wait and I am looking forward to it..

18 more days!

18 more days and Lucas will be here, for his year with us on the exchange program. We are so excited and can't for Lucas to arrive, so yes we are counting down the days down.

Sunday was day with the Inlaws

After Church we headed to my in-laws... We went and grabbed lunch with them at Palio's Pizza.. after lunch we headed to their house and helped them with somethings that they needed done since they just moved.

Don was having a off day, and little things were bugging him bigtime.. Maire has given up and is done fighting with him. Somethings Craig and I would try and explain to him and it just didn't work.

By the time we finished everything it was dinner time, so they took us to Arby's and then we finally headed home, we got home and talked to Matheus on skype (Man we miss this kid).. I talked to my friend Franchesca who will be here on Wednesday night with her girls (haven't seen her since 2003, at our 10yr reunion) so I am so excited and can't wait...

Craig did a couple of things in our garage (still working on this project, LOL) and then came and hung up the the curtain's in our bedroom..

All in all it was another busy but good day.. Only 1 not so good moment but life goes on..

Busy and Crazy Saturday!

Saturday was a busy and crazy day. Started my Saturday off at the Youth Pastor's house watching the kids for the new leaders of Home Groups while they had a meeting. There was about 9 kidos, and I can't wait to see all the new home groups and all the new leadership...

After that I came home to my hubby and kids and my mom and Andy came up to visit. My mom, Alison and I left to run to Target, had to get a couple of things and get a birthday present for Alison, she was going to Madison's birthday/slumber party. On the way home we stopped and grabbed some lunch. We got home, Craig made a To do List of something we need to get done. We had lunch, and shortly after that my mom and Andy left to go back home, and it's kept POURING down rain!!! BIG TIME!!! Had a nice visit, short but nice.

Alison and I left, we go to Monette's and Tim is taking Alison and Megan to the party since Monette and I had Women's Bible Study at the same time. It was a great time at Bible Study, there was 28 Women who join us. We did a neat thing, we had to bring 5 of the same item that was our favorite thing and everyone left with 5 new things, it was really neat to see all the Favorite things!!!

After Bible Study, I headed home to get my guys.. Craig, Charlie and I headed to dinner at Ghengis Grill, and then after dinner we headed to the movies, we missed the 9:40 movie and headed to the 10:20 movie of "Toy Story 3" it was such a great movie. I cried in that movie... Charlie's version of Woody is Mr Bear... We got home after 12:30 so it was a long and busy day...

We came home and went straight to bed, Church was in the morning!

Friday night, helping a pastor & his family out...

On Friday, after Craig got off work, our pastor, and two other men and Craig headed to Fort Worth. They went to help a pastor & his family move into their new house, our by their new church they are starting. Craig said he enjoyed his time helping and getting to know Pastor Brad and they guys better.

While they were doing that, during the rain, the kids and I had a quiet night at home, Taco Bell and a movie at home..

Happy Birthday Dad!

Friday July 9th was my dad's birthday... We gave hime some money to buy his Ipod Touch that he has been wanting.

Long time know blog.....I am back

It's been crazy and I feel bad that I haven't blogged in awhile. After we got back from Houston it's been crazy. They have been doing work on the house, fixing the foundation. They finally lifted the house 11 inches. I am now getting the plumbing fixed, they broke a ton of the pipes, and it's almost done. My garage got done, the redid the garage and put in a shop floor, which is amazing. But not without issues. The Eopoxy they put down, is hazardous smelling and was so bad in the house we had to go to a hotel for the night, due to the headaches, burning in our noses and breathing issues. But things are almost back to normal, just need the driveway and step to the porch done and then in a couple of months after some settling they will fix the cracks on the walls, not to bad, only 2 big ones and the rest are smaller.

Then Fourth of July weekend, my kids went to my dad's for the weekend. And it was the perfect weekend. Our garage stuff was put into a POD and we were finally able to put it back in the garage and so this gave Craig time to go through it all. We went on a double date on Friday night with Monette & Tim. It was so nice to go out and talk and have a dinner as adults. Outback Steakhouse was nice, and then we went for Yogurt afterwards and came home and played a game. Great night.. Saturday I got up and headed to womens Bible Study. Then Craig and I met his parents for lunch and ran to Lowes for some stuff to organize the garage. Sunday we headed to church and then later to my dad's for a picnic and fireworks, and that was a great family time. Craig also had off on Monday and we cleaned the garage and house and got things looking back to normal. Great and very productive day!

This week we are chilling, kids spending the night here and there, going to pick some peaches on Thursday, Costco on Friday. Going to take the kids to a movie on "Toy Story 3"..

We are getting ready for Lucas to arrive on July 30th, can't wait.. Love talking to our Matheus often during the week, we miss our Matheus...
