WOW alot has happened since Saturday. Alison is much better, praise GOD.. Kids went to school on Monday (Presidents Day) and Craig had the day off thanks to bank holidays.. So when I got off work on Monday morning at 7, we took the kids to school. It was time for he and I to have our annual check ups with the drs. Craig and I both had some blood work done, he had some x-rays done (Wrist and sinuses) and we got that taken care of and we will go back in three weeks for a followup and go over all the blood results. And we headed out to look at cars for me. We had a couple of preowned cars to look at. We ended up at a dealership and I, all by myself bought myself a car, it's in my names (well the loan is, lol). I got a Chevy Uplander with a DVD Player in it and the kids LOVE IT!!! Then the other big news is, that looks like we are moving!!! I am so excited, we finish the paperwork Friday. It' a 4 bedroom, 2 bath, with a Sunroom, 2450 sq ft one story, next to the neighborhood park. My mother-in-law, Marie will move in with us. She is excited as well, and we want to help take care of her. The loss of Don has been too much for her, and it's a great and postive thing...

Poor Sick Little Girl.....
I got home from work on Saturday morning and found a cute little girl laying in my bed watching tv. I layed down and watched some tv with Alison. A couple hours later, she was burning up with a 102* fever, complaining of her head and neck hurting. Normally you would give medicine for a fever, not Alison. We have to go to the hosptial cause it will get out of control and fast, and with her kidneys the ER is where we go and went. I went to my work and had her check out.. Low and behold, her first UTI Infection since her kidney surgery in 2005. The Dr gave her some antibiotics and the nurse gave her a red gatorade drink. Within 10 minutes of us getting home the poor stomach didn't like and she was vomitting everywhere. After that she cleaned up, and climbed back into my bed and sleeping it off. She woke up all happy, chatty until I gave her her medicine in which she said "THIS IS NASTY". But she has been a big girl and taken it, and trust me it smells nasty can't imagine the taste.. No more fever, so life is good..

Sick Sick Sick
Nothing like getting so sick from an infection that I had to go to the ER on Saturday, then Sunday and finally to my PCP Dr on Monday. Turn around on Tuesday and have to have a CT Scan.. I have such a severe sinus infection that my left side of my face went POOF and swelled up like no tomorrow. 3 anti-biotics later, 1 anti-inflammatory, 2 pains meds, and steriod later life is much better, still not 100% but I am able to go back to work and not scare any patients, lol...

Chris August - 7x70 (Lyrics)
What a truely powerful song, so much of it rings true to me... I can forgive and I have. But I am not going to put myself through that pain anymore. I love myself to much for that.

Not alot going on...
After last weeks 4 days off of school for snow and then missing yesterday for more snow. It's been a long but fun with week.. We had a blast with all the snow. Craig worked from home. I don't get snow days, and that is fine. I am loving my new job. Really love being back at work in the ER and being with adults again. Truely blessed to have a great job and Craig too.. I am excited I am off this weekend from work and I get to have a family weekend, and the weather is suppose to be perfect Spring Weather... yeah, not sure how long this will last. I am sure mother nature will make some changes, LOL :)
Matheus wrote me and told me that a college in Riverside Calif was interested in him. Talked to some California friends who said that they haven't heard many good things. Not sure what to time. He said there is a poss. of a college in Tyler, Texas. Of Course I am routing and praying for that school. He would only be 2hrs away and could come home any weekend he wanted. It's all in God's hands, but I am still praying for a Texas school for him.
Talked to Lucas as well this week and he is doing great, he is back in Brazil and just started back to school. He and Aline are still a couple an his family is doing great. That is great news!
Mariam is pretty much over the nasty flu that came. And thank goodness no one else caught the nasty flu, praise GOD!!!! She is doing great at school Straight A's and I am very proud of her.
Alison is doing awesome as well, and she is on the A/B Honor roll for her grades. She is so turning into such a funny young lady. She loves to laugh, loves to write songs and sing. I love seeing her mind turn. Alison loves modeling and we got her signed with a management company and can't wait to see what all she does.
Charlie is doing much better, he is trying so darn hard. His grades are straight
100's except for the Language Arts but he is pulling the grade up as fast as he can. We were having issues with focussing and that is improving. He is getting ready to go to Cub Scout District for the PineWood Derby Race, I hope he does well. In the past 3 yrs he has placed.
Craig is also doing awesome.. Loving his new job, Love seeing everything he has accomplished to get where he is at today. I am so blessed to have an amazing partner, best friend, husband and father of our children. What a great provider he is for our family. I am excited that I get to have a wonderful date night with him this weekend.
Myself, I am getting use to my hours of 7p-7a working back in the ER. I am loving my job. Not much has changed with me, but working and take care of my family, my exchange students that I am the area rep for, and planning our family vacation for the end of this year..
Well that is about it, there is the update on everyone~

Crazy Texas Weather!
WOW this has been some major crazy weather. Sabine I know you said that Germany got a ton of snow and it was the most you can remember in a long time. Well get this. We have had 4, yes 4 days of no school due to the crazy Texas weather. We are solid ice everywhere, snow on the ground, temps as low at 8* with the wind chills of -5 to -15, right now temp. wise we are colder than Alaska... THAT IS CRAZY... Well we are waiting for more snow, yeppers more snow tonight through tomorrow. We are suppose to get two days of nice weather and then Monday and Wednesday snow and winter weather again.. I am so loving it, the kids are as well. Craig is working from home and I work only 1 mile from home if that. Can't wait to take some more photos tomorrow and post them. Until then we are chilling at home, having hot chocolate, and watching TV and so forth.

-5 to almost -15. We are going through rolling blackouts. I am working tonight (we don't get snow days in the Emergency/Hospital. At least I am only 1 mile from work. ANd we just got the call that there isn't school now tomorrow. They are also calling for more snow tonight and tomorrow, and then again on Monday and poss. Tuesday. Thank goodness Craig can work from home and I don't have to worry about him on the roads... Fun week at home with the family..
