I think I have lost my mind~
I got some crazy wildhair to take four children to the store on a Saturday to grocery shop (22mth, 4, 6 & 7) yeppers crazy..
I don't think I have had to say stop touching or nope not buying that as many times as I did today. But I got all the stuff that I need except for the biscuits but life will go on. We even got the movie "BOLT" and that is what they are doing along with two of my kids friends Logan and Megan. They are laying all over the living room watching the movie while the 22mth old takes his nap.
Now what to make for dinner, Tim & Monette and the kids will be here and I think Kristi and her kids will all be here as well..
Also at 6:00 the parents will be here to visit with there kids. Tommorrow we have church and so forth, so just another fun and busy weekend at the Simmons House...
And yeppers, wouldn't want it any other way in the world..

Spring Break Almost Over, Two extra kids, Life is busy
Today was Friday, and the last day on Spring Break, besides this crazy and busy weekend. We played at most of the parks in the neighborhood. Played with friends and spent the night at friends, had them stay here overnight. Been fun but this is one mom who is ready for school on Monday (maybe not the getting up early part). Ended our Friday night with crazy friends Robert and Krisit and there kidos, thanks for the welldone burgers, LOL :)
But then again, sleeping in isn't the same anymore with a 22mth old and 4.5yr old living with us. We were told today that it will be for several more weeks before they can and will go home. The boys are doing great, and that is a good thing. Seems like things are getting done with them, it's a long road ahead of them but it will work out.
Busy weekend, Charlie going to a friends, Alison playing at another friends, and me and the boys will be redoing the rooms, switching Charlie's and Alison's. Her room is bigger and there is three boys now and not 1. Charlie is excited that he is getting the bigger room. Alison doesn't care, she is funny. The kids are more excited (charlie and alison) too sleep on the couch, why that is fun I am not so sure, tonight is the last night. We have church on Sunday and School on Monday.
Craig is going in to get some extra work, that will be great for payday. Hopefully he won't be there all day, but if he is that is fine to. Just me wanting the best of both worlds, great day with the hubby and a great paycheck, LOL :)
Hope everyone has a super weekend~

Great Friends, Food and Evening~
Tonight we got together with some super friends, the Powell's and the Wright's and all our children. We had some yummy fajita's, thanks to Robert & Kristi. And some other yummy food, thanks for the Guac. MONETTE!! Even though it ws for the fajita's only and not the chips, LOL... It was great to sit and talk and just chat and laugh. Like laughing when we all get together is something hard to do. I am truely blessed to have them and there family in Craig, the kids and my life...

Another Tooth Fell Out (this time it is Alison)

Alison has been playing around with a loose tooth, from moving it back and forth to eating apples and carrots anything she can and could do to make it fall out, WELL SHE DID IT, I think the tooth fairy is going to go broke in this house with just Charlie and Alison alone!!!

From 2 to 4 children~
On Tuesday afternoon, we got a call that made us go from 2 children to 4 children. My friend is having some issues and till they get ironed out, we have her two children. We are the saftey plan with the CPS. I am on day 2 with four children and so far so good. Everyone is doing better than expected. Life is fun and busy with a 22mth old, 4.5yr old, 6yr old and 7yr old. I will try and keep up with our blog, but if you don't see anything for a day or two know you will know why. We aren't sure how long the boys will be with us, we are hoping and praying that she gets stuff under control and gets her boys back.

Happy St. Paticks Day & Happy Anniversary to Chell & Nathan~
Just wanted to say Happy Anniversary to Michelle & Nathan, I can't believe that 8yrs ago you were married.. Seems like yesterday we were picking out your dress, and everything for your big day. I remember the night before your wedding & you and I stayed at the hotel in Clear Lake, talking and enjoying our last time before you became Mrs. Nathan Moore. You had a beautiful and wonderful wedding, I wish I could go back in time and redo your wedding toast that I did.. I was so nervous, scary thought me nervous or scared.. Anyways Happy anniversary to my two closest friends in the world.. TO many more years!!

Very Thankful~
I am truely lucky and blessed to have wonderful people in my life.. I have a wonderful and amazing husband and two wild and goofy but amazing children. Everyday my children teach me something.
It was a nice Saturday with the family, minus the funeral that my husband went to, his co-worker lost his wife. Charlie, Alison and I went to drop off Girl Scout Cookies and went to lunch with my dad and stepmom Paula. It was a nice afternoon and then we ran some more errands and I had a great time. I don't really get to hang out with Paula much, that needs to change. Well in May we are heading to Canton! SHOPPING~
Tonight we come home and spend some time with Craig, now that we are all home. Feed and played and then put the kids to bed. Craig and I layed on the couch and watched "Nights in Rodanthe" together and now we are watching PBS "John Denver" at 12:30 in the morning, sad I know..And here I am posting all about it tonight or this morning...

Home from Houston
Alison and I came home this morning and made it back by 1:45, went to Sonic and got a drink and headed to Kristi's and then to the park and waited for my sweet boy Charlie, I missed that little guy. We came home and unpacked and then off to make dinner and waited for the sweet hubby of mine to get home, we had dinner and some wonderful Cherry Pie that Craig had made, while Alison ate some Heart shaped chocolate cupcakes her brother made. We watched some tv and then off to bed. Goodnight! Glad to be home and be with my wonderful and super family.... Sad when I miss my husbands snoring....

Saturday in Houston~
This morning the girls got up and were playing around the house, and Nathan brought home yummy Shipley's Donuts (one thing we don't have in Dallas/Denton). Then Michelle and I and the kids headed out for some fun. We went to the Friendswood Family Festival at the Church of Christ. It was alot of fun and the girls had a blast and won a ton of stuff from candy to bubbles and so much more. They got there hair, nails and faces done. Also they rode the ponies and jumped in the bounce houses and did spinart, climbed around in the police cars and got cookies.

Road Trip With Alison~
This weekend, Alison and I headed to Houston (Friday-Monday). We came for several different reasons. One is my granfather has been ill and I wanted to check and see him and my grandmother. Also my BFF Michelle got tickets for Ali and I and Michelle and her daughter Taylor to go to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and see the Jonas Brothers.
On the ride down, Alison drew and colored and we sang to the songs on CD and really enjoyed our time together. She was cracking me up with some of her questions. We are really big into asking about everything.
A couple of her questions were...
* DO Butterflies have faces
* Why are there more trees and bigger ones in Houston vs Dallas
* How do you rock a baby to sleep (as she is rocking her baby in the backseat) got photos of that.
Then me putting in a new cd to sing to, only for her to tell me to be quiet so that she can nap, crazy child.
We got to Houston around 11:45 and made great timing and not alot of traffic, even leaving Dallas at 8am.
Tonight we went to dinner at Outback Steakhouse, it was yummy.. Alison ate everything (I know not shocking at all) she had steak, and Veggies and a salad. She is such a great eater. I had a yummy Filet and stuffed Shrimp and a salad. After dinner we came back to Michelle's where we watched the girls favorite movie "Mama Mia".
Tomm I am sure we will go, go, go.
When I get back I will update with photos. (taken a ton)
I wanted to wish my wildman Charlie, best of luck tommorrow at the Cubscout District Pinewood Derby Race. I am sure that Charlie and Craig will have a fun and bust weekend, we miss you guys~

When God Talks to You~
Last night I was having a hard time dealing with some things and my grandfather was rushed to the hospital with chest pains. And I started reading a book that Kristi and I got yesterday on the book of James. Amazing how some things are just what you need to see and take to heart.
James 1 (New International Version)
James 1
1James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,
To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations:
Greetings.
Trials and Temptations
2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.
9The brother in humble circumstances ought to take pride in his high position. 10But the one who is rich should take pride in his low position, because he will pass away like a wild flower. 11For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich man will fade away even while he goes about his business.
12Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
13When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. 15Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
16Don't be deceived, my dear brothers. 17Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. 18He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.
Listening and Doing
19My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. 21Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.
22Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror 24and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does.
26If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless. 27Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
