Just a Monday

Today started out like every other Monday. Wake up and get Charlie & Alison ready for swim lessons, check email, make coffee, fix breakfast. We head out to swim lessons and while they were learning and perfecting swimming I make phone calls to book our Speakers for the 2007-2008 yr for MOPS, while working on the newsletter. My mom, Andy and my nephew Lucas to Chuck E Cheese. While they did that I was at my good friend Jodi's taking some newborn photos. I am so amazed how happy and layed back little Jeremy is. I got some great shots. About hr and half I meet my mom at the house. Charlie and Alison played for awhile. Around 4 we started to fix dinner, it must have been great Charlie (pickyman) ate it all and wanted more. Then it is bed time and then some chill time. Craig worked a little late tonight not to bad. Got the kids into bed and we layed around and watched "Hell's Kitchen". Everyone is asleep, while I post to the blog, and finish working on some stuff for MOPS, and work on some photo's.

As for today Sunday~
Today was a calm day. We got up and went to church and it was a good sermon today. The kids like always had a blast. After church we headed over to Don and Marie's (my in-laws) and visited with them for awile. They are packing to move to Lewisville, Texas. Afterwards we went to go and buy Charlie's school supplies (wow time is flying). And then we came home and we made dinner and Craig made brownies. Time for bed~

Friday & Saturday

I didn't post anything on Friday so I will do that and also post Saturday.

Friday~ Went and had lunch with my awesome dad and also went to show him some houses that we are looking at up towards Denton. Went to visit my step mom at work and then Alison had to ride in the car with my dad and grammy. So I and Charlie had to follow them to the chiropractor (sp?) and while I was there I was seen for the first time and WOW what a change, I feel like a million dollars. Then we headed to my dad's and hung out for awhile. The kids and I left to go home and I head to my friend Dawns and we went and got another friend Karen and off we went to see "Chuck and Larry" Oh my that was one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long long time....

Saturday~ I leave at 9:00 for a MOPS Steering Retreat to plan and prepare for the 2007-2008 year. During the retreat I got a call from my friend Jodi that she is in the hospital with kidney stones and kindey infection and they are admitting her and doing surgery to correct and she will be home tomm. We finish the retreat and we leave around 3:00 and I head home and do some things around the house and we took the boat out and had a great time with the kids and then my cousin Alex and two of his friends come and join us, I will post some pic's tomm. Good Night! It's time to go to bed, Church in the morning.

Yeah 1 more till Friday!!

Well we made it through our 1st week of Swim Lessons and our last VBS for the Summer, yeah yeah. The kids are having fun but I think we are tired and are ready for a calmer month of August. Tomm we are going to go and have lunch with my dad (their Pepaw) and also go and look at a couple of homes that we are looking at in Aubrey. I hope we find something soon (but in due time we will). It will be nice to have Craig home more. Right now Craig is driving 80-90miles round trip everyday and having to use the toll-road which is more money (we would like to save). I am ready for tomm. as I also have my MOPS Steering Comm. Retreat this Friday and Saturday. I think Craig and the kids are going to Lowes and doing some project for kids (free activity for them all, that should be alot of fun). Now much here today. Except the new Target finally opened up, yeah. That is our day. Take care everyone~

So Many Things to say!

Today Charlie showed me his first loose tooth, wow he is growing up so fast. It makes me so sad to see him grow up and yet so happy to watch him continue to grow and learn.
At swim lessons today he was also bumped up to the next level, way to go smart boy. Alison did great at her lessons as well, she was floating, and using the kick board very well. She is doing super! They both love there lessons and can't wait till the next class, that is great.

I called my best friend Michelle to see what there baby is, at the last appt. baby was being shy. Not anymore we know that Michelle & Nathan and big sister Taylor are waiting for the little boy!!! IT'S A BOY!!!! I am so excited for them both and can't wait to meet this little man. I am going to go to Houston for a week and help Michelle do that baby's room.

Craig went on a job interview and it looked great! It was a great offer, so we will see.

Tonight is the last night of VBS, which the kids are loving.

Our AC is fixed and it's didn't cost an arm and leg, yeah for that.

Yes I know that it is 3 in the morning!

Our AC just went out in the house, and it's getting hot (I think it is really cooler outside) so guess what I get to do in the morning, you got it call the AC Repair Man, oh what fun. At Least we have swim lessons tomm morning so we can get out of the house. Craig says that it is the motor, that should be fun in the sun and our wallets... Hopefully tomm I can give a better report, lol...

1st Day of Swim Lessons (for this year)

Today was Charlie & Alison's first day of Swim Lesson's for the summer of 2007. It went really well. They got up and got dressed faster than anything in the world this morning. We leave for Swim Lessons and meet their teacher Ms Laura. And off they go, Charlie and Alison both floated on their backs, swam through the hoop (underwater) and jumping into the pool. Charlie was kicking and swimming pretty well I might add. Alison was a little nervous jumping in but she finally did, way to go! After lessons we went to Wendy's for some Chicken Nuggets and Yogurt (for Charlie) and Oranges (for Alison) and I had some yummy chicken salad. Came back and played with our friends who were also at swim lessons. Now it's time to rest and get ready for our last week of VBS.

A boring day ( that is a good thing sometimes )

Today was a day that we all stayed in our jammies and watched tv and ate some pizza. Craig is trying to fix my computer for my photography business, trying to make it bigger and so forth. The kids played and I went through cookbooks, to find some new yummy foods to try. Tomm Charlie and Alison start Swim Lessons for the next two weeks. Tomm. on the "dallasareamoms" it's our turn for "In the Day in the life of Charlie and Alison" so that should be fun. The house is very quiet, both kids fell asleep at 8:00 and that was nice to have some adult conversation, and just some time with Craig. Now everyone is asleep and I am blogging, till tomm. A Calm Saturday for the Family~

Today was a calm Saturday (yeah I didn't have to work this weekend, either did Craig) . Craig and Charlie worked on fixing and doing things on the boat. I cleaned the house, did laundry and so forth. Alison played and was changing clothes every 5 seconds. The guys left to mount the tires, Alison and I went to Walmart to get some Char-Coal and lighter fluid. We get home and Craig starts the grill for dinner. Tonight we had yummy Turkery Burgers, Grilled Corn, Green Beans and we also made a S'More Pie (that was sticky and yummy). We are bathing the kids, getting ready to put them to bed. Tomm. we have church in the morning and will probably head over to Craig's parents (normal Sunday). I love normal days the ones' without the curve balls. I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Crazy Day

Hello everyone, today was crazy, fun and so forth. Today Craig left for work and got to work and he forgot his cell phone, I put it in my purse to take to him after I get off work. I drop Charlie and Alison at my in-laws while I head to Baylor Dallas for a crazy shift. Today I had 30 babies, all boys but 3 girls. I finally left work at 4:30 to go and get the kidos, who had a blast. Charlie fell asleep on the way home and Alison sang the whole time. Get home and change Alison's shirt and off we go again, time for VBS. Drop them off and head to the movies with my good friend Dawn, we went to see "Hairspray" it was suppose to start at 8:05 and the goof gave us the wrong ticket and the movie already started so we wait for the 9:55 by going and watching "Evan All Mighty" another great movie. Finally it is time for our ORGINAL MOVIE, Craig picked the kids up from VBS and they were home getting ready for bed. Dawn and I watch the movie and IT WAS GREAT! I am home and trying to pick up and start the laundry and so forth, tomm the guys are working on the boat and no telling what Ali and I will be up to. We are having a cook out tomm and the kids are ready to make the Smore Pie on the grill, that should be some neat photos.

Gotta Love Date Night!

Today was just a day, lunch with friends at McDonald's (them playing Dawn and I working on the PTA calendar). Afterwards it's time to go grocery shopping, that was fast (30min in and out) done till next week, yeah... The kids are going to the movies with my dad and step-mom and then to VBS. And I get to go on a DATE with the hubby. Now if we can just think of somewhere to go and have dinner. Anyone have any idea? hmm........

I meet my dad at the movies and since I had some time to spare (2hr to be exact) I went and watched "Evening" and by the way Very good Movie... Craig finally got there and we went to dinner at Fish City Grill (gotta love the fish tacos, yummy).

Sometimes we need to slow down and stop and just take things in. Wednesday after taking the kids to Vacation Bible School I thought I would go and take some photos. I love all the sunflowers that are every where. Well in Rockwall there is a great spot off the beaten bath. During this time I got to think, relax and just take some photos. I came home and uploaded my camera and feel in love with this photo. I love the flight of the bee coming to get the pollen. There were butterflies everywhere, dragonflies and good ole bumble bees. What an evening to just relax and have a couple of minutes to myself.

A Simple Simmons Day

Today was a simpe but fun day. Wednesday's are FREE SUMMER MOVIE DAYS at AMC Theaters. So we went to the movies with Dawn and her 4 children. "Barnyard" is the movie this week, such a fun movie to watch. After eating popcorn, and having a drink we head out of the movies only for Charlie to fall and bust both knees. We take Dawn and her bunch home and we head home to play dr and fix wildman's knees. Now Charlie says he can't walk (life is so rough) so he and his sister are laying on the couch watching "The Last Mimzy" (great movie so far, by the way). Tonight is Vacation Bible School and that will be fun, they are loving "Avalanche Ranch VBS" tonight I think they are going horse back riding and having the photos taken (if so I will share those tomm). Now if I can just think of what we make for dinner.......

After this photo was taken it was time to play in the water, I tried to get some with my nephew Lucas as well but the noise of the water scared him.
