Life has changed so much over the past 4yrs....

The kids asked tonight to watch the videos from when they were born. It really makes me sad, not just the fact my babies are growing up. But how happy our family was, or how happy I thought it was. I see both my parents, married and laughing. All the family get togethers.. I was watching a part of Charlie's video and it brought me to tears. It was my brother and sister-in-law playing with Charlie and spinning him around. And they aren't really apart of our lives, my nephew only see's me a couple of times a year and they live down the street from my dad and stepmom. Tonight he has a school program and we weren't even invited. It truely breaks my heart. I so want a relationship with him, and him to know and play and visit with his cousins. It makes it harder I think since Craig is an only child and he is all we will ever have. But it bothers me that Charlie and Alison only have one cousin and they don't get to see him or have the relationship with their Uncle and Aunt. But on the other hand, I have a super relationship with my new stepbrother and his girlfriend... And my best friend and her husband are like Aunt and Uncle to my kids and they even call them that. I just so miss the family that was, I miss my cousin Micah and my grandfather all that have passed away. But I love my stepmom Paula... she is wonderful and I am truely blesed.

Rough and Crazy Day

My crazy day started with a little Finn who isn't feeling well. He is going to the doctors tomorrow. Then I was suppose to have the plumbers over at 1 to do all the beginning work before the foundation starts. Well they showed up at 9am... I was a little shocked. Then I get a phone call that Denise (Landlord) and the Foundation guys are coming over to explain and go over some stuff at 2pm. I call Craig and ask him to take a late lunch so that he would be here for this. Craig, Denise and I wait and they don't show up, we tried to call and nothing.. Now it's time to get Charlie and Alison from school. Get home and I lay Finn back down. Jonah watched a movie and had a snack. Matheus is suppose to ride the bus home, but the Tennis Coach kept them to long and he missed the bus. So I had to wake Finn up and had to go and get him. Matheus and I, aren't seeing eye to eye on his finals and was a rouh afternoon. But I love that boy so much. Something about him, makes it where I can't stay mad for long. But we need to calm down and sit down and talk about what all happened. I talked to our area rep and he said it's normal for some exchange students who are close to the host family, it's like a coping mechanism. Thinking it might make things easier when they leave, which makes some sense. But I want to leave on a good note and not like this. Children are something else...

Busy Weekend

This morning we bought the kids a Trampoline for the backyard, it was funny to watch Craig, Charlie and Matheus putting it together (I have some real photos of them putting it together)

Craig and I took just Alison to lunch for some one on one, before taking her to her cooking event.

Alison went to a Girl Scout Cooking Event (She had a blast, the made chili and so much more)

Craig, Matheus, Charlie and I, headed to Lowes to get some light bulbs, flowers, water hose and water sprayer

Matheus and Lydia headed to the Arlington Ball Park to watch the Ranger play Baseball, but sadly they lost the game.. But they had fun.

Little House on the Prairie at the Dallas Summer Musicals

Tuesday night was Opening Night at Music Hall for the Dallas Summer Musical of "Little House on the Prairie" with Melissa Gilbert as Ma.. It was a great show, a little long but good. The acting was great and some of the characters were to funny. We saw the show with my cousin Andrea and her friend, my Aunt Nancy & Uncle Tim (who took me to my first theater show) and my good friend Monette and her daughter Megan and my Half~Pint Alison. After the show they girls were asked some question for the Opening Night Video which is below...

Saturday after soccer we headed to the High School to take some video that Matheus needs for the program to come back to the USA for College, and so while Craig was doing the video I shot some photos of him playing, during the school matches I didn't take alot, to busy watching the game, so I finally got some of him and I don't think they are too bad.... like several of them, I have a ton..

Saturday, we had Upward Soccer photos and a Game... We lost but they played hard and Alison had a great block and Charlie gets so aggressive, he really loves soccer...
