Poor Little Alison~

Our little Alison hasn't missed a day of school due to illness all year. Well last night (thursday) she woke me up at 3 in the morning saying she wasn't feeling well. And then this morning she said that she was fine, she didn't have a fever or anything. Well I get to the school to take some photos for Gator Games (Field Day) and she was still feeling pretty bad, we stop be the nurses office and she is running a fever of 103.2,so we come home. I get her a dr appt at 2:20 and I called Kristi to come and watch Haydon and we are off to the dr (then Monette came over to watch Haydon)* Thanks so much chickies * We get tested for strep and it's negative. Then we get tested for the flu and sure enough she has type A flu. By the way she hated that test and cried for a good 20min. Poor thing. We are told with her medical history and stuff that we needed to head to Children's Hospital and get further tested for LOL Swine Flu, I thought he was kidding at first. So we head to the hospital, with a quick stop for the mommy to get a drink. Alison wakes up and ask why we are going to the hospital only for my to tell her the truth and her freak out, she doesn't want another flu test (doesn't like the swab up the nose). So we call Aunt Michelle to talk and get her mind somewhere else, which worked for a few minutes till I open the car door. She cries all the way in the er and triage and then to her room. The make her wear a mask and everything. Everytime the nurse or anyone walk in they have on the gown, gloves and mask. Her poor ear is infected as well. So we get a antibiotic for that as well as the tamaflu. The come in a check her and she calms down, we turn on the tv and watch cartoons. She finally ask for Gatorade, and she got BLUE and it was funny cause her tongue turned BLUE and she thought that was funny. The nurse comes in to do the test to send it off to the CDC, and it took two nurses and myself to hold that tough little cookie down. She is screaming as loud as she can (Which is loud, and I need my hearing check). We are done and they ask her if she wants a popsicle, and she choose a blue one and we are happy and out the door. Craig meets me at the grocery store, we get her meds and some grocery's. I send them home and I run to drop off some photos for some cliets, stop by my dad's and then to Target (Like I promised) for a Barbie and Jammies. She can't go to school all next week and she is mad and sad about that. She will miss her End of the Year Park Celebration and Kindergarten Graduation. We will have our own little party.

Gator Games

Today was their schools Gator Games aka Field Day.. Charlie had a blast, Alison not so much, she ended up coming home with a fever 103.2 and we are now waiting to go to the dr's appt.

Charlie is now a WOLF!

We are getting ready for Charlie's "Cub Scout Crossover Camp" he is no longer a Tiger scout he is now a mighty WOLF!!! Way to go Charlie Brown!!! We are proud of you.

Sunday, Day at the Pool~

Today, sadly we over slept and missed church and that isn't good, I really wanted to go. I thought I hit snooze and I hit off. Craig made chicken fajitas for lunch. We had a silly water and shaving cream war with the kids, and sadly all inside the house.. It's great throwing a kid in the shower and turning on the cold water. LOL :) sorry Charlie. I folded tons of laundry, and we cleaned the house. And then we took the kids swimming!!! Came home and took showers and then ate some yummy Hawiian Chicken and Rice for dinner and the kids Crashed and crashed HARD!!!

Fun with Friends~

Friday night we picked up Jonathon and Nicole, Charlie and Alison's friends and we met Craig at Chili's for dinner and a "Happy Birthday" for Nicole, they made her stand on the seat as they sang to her. After dinner we took them all to the movies to see "Night at the Museum 2" and then off for Ice Cream at Cold Stone. It was a great night and great evening with some of the greatest kids. They all had a blast and were tired when we drove home, 2 feel asleep, the boys on the other hand loved burping! boys!!!

Terrific Tuesday~

Had to go and pick up some things at Party City and the kids and I had alot fun with the Sunglasses!

Another great day!

This morning I was feeling sick and had a still massive headache, so Craig took the kids and went to church. I slept in a bit, took a shower and had something to eat. Craig and the kids came home and we went to the Chili Cook Off, which Kelly WON, Congrats to Kelly. Then we were off to University of North Texas to photo the Aubrey Band who was preforming. And then we grabbed a bite to eat at MG's Burger's in Denton and then we went next door to Bahama Bucks Shaved Ice. And we left with a ice chest full of SNOW BALLS and we started a SNOW BALL WAR! We got all of our friends but one, but we got everyone else in the group. It was alot of fun, but I think I will be sleeping with on eye open! LOL... :)

Saturday Morning

This morning I got the kids up and we headed out to the two neighborhood's and there sales.. Tons of sales even in the rain, lol... Charlie got a small bike ramp, Alison got some barbie stuff and little pet shop and then I got a small kids table and two chairs for the back patio.. Trying to fix up the back patio for the summer. After some sales we ran into Cozy and her kidos, and Jonathon came we us for the afternoon and we went and grabbed some donuts. Now the boys are playing legos and the Wii and Alison and her friend Elora are playing with the barbies. I am relaxing and watching "The Reader", just wish I could quit sneezing and my eyes would stop itching and watering..(allergies).. Tonight the kids and I are making homemade Pizza's and Craig and his friends are going to a Poker for Pampers Shower for Anthony (Cozy's hubby). I keep waiting for the call that I am getting Jonathon and Chloe cause Cozy is in labor... soon I think..

Family Friday Fun!

Tonight we took the kids to Gatti Town for dinner and some fun. The kids played and played. After all the fun, we got their prizes for all the tickets or points they had, Charlie got a fossil dig toy and a VERY FLIPPING LOUD Mega Horn (WOW) and pirate gold (gum) and Alison got a Doll and a Hannah Montana Punch Bag Balloon and a spiral sucker. They rode the train a couple of times. You can tell that the eonomy is bad when on a Friday night at Gatti Town and it's dead in there. It was scary, after dinner we headed to our favorite place to go "Double Dips" we love the owners, the people and all the families just enjoying the night and an amazing treat. After all that we headed to Krogers for some grocery shopping and to get everything for the Poker for Pampers night with the guys and the stuff for the chili for the cookoff.

1st Grade Fieldtrip to Sharkarosa~

Today Craig took the day off and went with the 1st grade and 3rd graders fieldtrip. They went to Sharkarose on Pilot Point, Texas. I think they all had a great time and Charlie came home talking about all the different animals and about the deer that was hit by a car and how they are helping the sweet thing.

Praise God~

Today was the day that we found out what dealerships were closing thanks to the Chrysler Bankruptcy. They close over 800 dealerships.. Craig's was lucky and we were spared, Praise God! I am sadden though to think of our friends who lost their jobs at McNatt (where Craig just left) and our friends at Archer in Katy. I hope and pray that the economy picks up and picks up soon. This is a very scary time to lose your jobs. I am truely thankful and praise God that we are fine, at least for the time being. Craig's work is picking up and that is another reason to Praise God.
