Monette and I took the kids to grab some lunch and the head to the park. Yeah, everyone is happy... The kids got their energy out and we got to talk and catch up. It was so cold outside but that didn't stop our monkeys at all. Later I took the boys home for a sleepover and the girls stayed with Monette. It was a great day and night..

Christmas was Amazing
Christmas was truely amazing. Just being with my hubby, and kids were nice.. Later Christmas Day my dad and stepmom came up and we had a great time together. We had some amazing tamales, rice and beans, chips & dips... Watched a movie together and just had a really enjoyable day. Santa brought the kids a ton of stuff. Alison got a bike, keyboard, Wii game, Glow Station and her favorite thing, her Easy Bake Oven. Charlie got a Nerf Dart System, Nerf Gun, Glow Station, Wii Game, Paper Jamz and together they got a Airsoft BB Gun. They got to shoot BB's at Pine Cove Camp and really enjoyed it. Then it was time for the gifts from us, LOL... they got a ton more stuff... They still have Christmas with my brother and Sister-in-law and my stepbrother and future Sister-in-law to come, and their great Aunt and Unlce, it's never-ending.

Happy Wednesday...
Good evening... thought I would do a update, since I haven't posted since last week.. Need to get better at this again, kinda slacking.. sorry...
Charlie and Alison headed to Pine Cove Winterfest Camp this past weekend, thanks to my dad and stepmom... Thanks Pepaw & Grammie... They had the time of their life and can't wait to go this summer... (now I am waiting for Grammie & Pepaw to send me the photos, since they took them to camp)
Sunday, Craig & I took one of my exchange students out for the day.. We went to Dream Cafe for Brunch and then went downtown Dallas. We stopped by the JFK spot, Reunion Tower, and then headed to The State Fair Grounds, Cotton Bowl and then off to Tyler to pick up the kids. On the way home we stopped by Bass Pro and saw Santa and had dinner, then it was off to Highland Park to look at the amazing Christmas lights... wow they were AMAZING...
Monday the kids made ginger snap cookies, all by themselves... they did a great job and the snaps were yummy.
Tuesday, but 13yrs ago was Craig and I's first date.. And ever year on this date we still do the same first date all over again. It was going to look at Christmas Lights... I love that we do this every year...
Craig got all of his new work stuff done, yeppers that is the exciting news... Craig is no longer going to be work in the auto business, he got a Computer IT Job... I am so proud of him...
Also I went on my 1st interview to go back to work in the Emergency Room. They want me to come back for a second interview, wish me luck and say a prayer please...
My next goal is to go back to school and finish my degree, and I know I can do it.
Today I met my MIL and we had a dr appt for my FIL, Don. They said that he can't bend his knee's for the next 4weeks.. After that we come back to the dr and they will say if he can start to bend it, and then it won't be till sometime in mid March before any weight can be put on his knees. So sadly it's a long road to recovery. He seemed in good spirits today.. Marie seems tired, and emotionally exhausted..
Well I think that is the newest and lasted update...

update (lots of them)
Let's start with my father-in-law Don... Well Don did have the surgery on Friday and they corrected his broken knees. He did great and everything went off without a hitch. On Monday I went to the hospital (Craig went over the weekend with the kids) and he was talking here and there and making some sense.. Then on Tuesday when I went up to visit he knew NOTHING AT ALL.... He wasn't making any sense at all, he was grabbing things in the air. Next thing he is slurred and talking about the past. Marie and I went and looked at some Rehab Centers and found one for when he got discharged. When we got back he was worse than before. Also very mad and loud. They nurses said that they were going to discharge him today.. I said no and talked to Craig and we fought the dr's and nurse and got 24 more hours.. Also his sugars were in the 250-340 and that was way to high.. Now when I went back the next day, he was back to normal, his sugars and his mind.. ANd he was then transfered to the rehab hospital and doing much better...
Kids are doing great in school, grades are better and better, way to go CHarlie and ALison..
Charlie had his 3rd grade program and he was "Vixon" the Reindeer and he did a great job, waiting on the video that my dad took. I need to upload all the photos and will do that today.
Craig got some amazing news and we will share next week sometime.. I have a job interview on Tuesday (wish me luck!)
Craig and I have a weekend to ourselves, and his company Christmas Party.
Off to run some errands and somethings done before the weekend starts!!!

My Father-In-Law...
My father-in-law Don, was taking some photos at the complex office where they live. And for some reason he got a crazy idea of standing on a table to get a better photo shot. Well needless to say that didn't work out to well. The table fell and so did Don. Don is now in the hospital and has two, yes I said two, broken KNEES... Goodness, what are we going to do with this man.. He is in his 80's, not alot of balance and he thought stand on a table was a good idea... NOT>.. They are waiting for the swelling to go down, and are hoping for surgery on Friday. Just praying for a smooth recovery.

True Blessings...
Craig and I are truely blessed to be apart of an amazing church and community. Something we are not so used to. Today God has been very good to us and has blessed us in ways we can't say Thank you enough for.. But he knows how thankful we truely are.. Thank you to those who were apart of the blessings for my family, we are truely thankful in everyone possible. I can't wait to pay it forward..
