Good Morning

It's 5a.m. and I am wide awake and have been since 4:30. I worked Monday and Tuesday night and slept all day Wednesday so of course I am wide awake. I did make it to the mandatory meeting for Charlie's church camp. Can't believe that he is leaving again tomorrow for Church Camp. I know that he is going to have a blast. I will miss that boy so much, feel like I haven't seen him all summer. But first off we have swim team this morning, then I have a meeting for American Heritage Girls and then Monette and I and the kids are going to go to the movies. Alison is at
Camp Grammie's. She hasn't gotten to go to all the camps, but man next year she will be able to to. So my stepmom said she will come to Camp Grammie's. I know that she is having a great time. She got to go to Paula's mom and dad's and see all the animal, she was in hog heaven. This summer is going fast.. and soon it will be vacation time with the family and that will make the summer go even faster... I am ready for some R&R with the family. Bring on the summer fun!!

Charlie

Charlie left last Sunday for Cub Scout camp and was gone Sunday-Wednesday. He said he had a great time, and boy was he a tired boy when he got home. We all went and grabbed some lunch, he came home, took a shower and passed out on the couch. But while we were out we ran into his best friend and his family. They asked Charlie to go camping with them at the lake up in Oklahoma. Craig and I said yes. And so we washed and repacked his bags and he left that night and won't be home till Sunday.. I don't think I will see my son until we go on vacation, lol.. I will be packing him up, cause he leaves again next Friday-Tuesday for church camp, and then we will leave soon there after for vacation. I am glad that Charlie is having a fun and busy summer, and I am not having to hear "Mom I am bored"... But I miss my Charlie..

Fun day with Alison

Today Alison and I met my mom for lunch and then to look for some family plots and some shopping.. It was a fun girl day. My mom gave Alison some money to get some feathers for her hair, will do that and take photos tomorrow. We got home, made dinner and then headed to VBS, gotta love the Beach Blast. After VBS, Craig took the ladies in his life to go and get some frozen yogurt, what a great hubby and daddy. Then we came home, time for showers, and Alison and I did a facial, and afterwards Alison and Craig made Cake Batter Rice Crispie Treats. All in all a great day!

Busy Summer Fun

It's been an already massive fun and busy summer... The kids got out of school and headed to camp, they were gone to PineCove Camp in Tyler Texas for 1 week. They had a great and fun time, they swam, played games, made new friends, learned about God, and so much more.. It was weird having a whole week with no kids, we missed them so much. Craig and I had dinner together and just talked and enjoyed our time together. We headed back to East Texas to grab the kids from camp, on the way home we stopped in Athen's, Texas and took the kids to the Parks and Wildlife Fish Hatchery, it was a great day to go, it only cost us a total of $5 for us all to get in, and free hotdogs, drinks and ice cream. Not to bad at all.. Then Charlie joined the Fishing Tournament and he took 2nd place in the ages 11 and under. WAY TO GO CHARLIE.. Then it was the first week of summer break and the first with no activities. We started our morning off with Swim Team Practice, and then we headed to the local library and signed up for the summer reading program. The kids love the library and got a ton of books to kick off the summer. Then it was time to go and get Charlie's physical for his Cub Scout Camp, and then some lunch. It was a great day. Then we headed back to the pool for some fun. This momma got some massive sun and a nice sunburn. Charlie is again gone for camp, he is at Cub Scout camp and I am sure having a great time and yet I can't wait till he comes home on Wednesday.. Craig, Alison and I started our church's VBS Beach Bash tonight and it was a great start.

I know that I haven't posted in a long time, didn't think it was that long. YIKES...

Well lets see, Craig and I flew away for the weekend and we surprised Matheus who was in Florida on Vacation with his mom, stepdad and brother. His mom and I had been talking, but Matheus had no clue.. It was great to surprise him and see him. We spent the whole day at Walt Disney World with them. They left early on Saturday morning and Craig and I had two days alone. It was a great time to reconnect, talk and enjoy each others company. We flew back home on Mother's day and spent it with my kidos.

Charlie has been busy playing baseball, so that is where we are on the weekends. I have been working, except for this past weekend, I was off for the whole weekend and it was nice. We went to see "RIO" great movie, the music is wonderful and makes me want to Samba.

Craig and I have been busy planning our summer vacation, and I can't wait.. 19days, 3200 miles and 12 states, should be interesting...

I am sick right now and it sucks.. I have Strep, bronchitis, ear infection and running fevers, oh Good times, lol... NOT REALLY...

The kids are getting ready to head to camp for a week, they are so excited and can't wait and I can't wait to pick them up and hear all about the fun they had at the camp.

I got the Bangles thing in the mail, I will be mailing it this weekend.

It's me again!

Alot has been going on. Been moving my mother-in-law, trying to work at night and sleep during the day, be a good wife and mom and many other things.

So lets see if I can catch up on here...

Craig's mom is all moved in, and I am still slowly unpacking and making our house a home.

Working and being mom, along with many other roles.

Craig and I just turned a year old and celebrated 12 amazing years together.

Charlie and Alison are doing great at their new school and are loving the new school, teachers and friends.

Charlie is getting ready to be a Weblos in cub scouts, he is getting so big, makes me kinda sad, ok alot sad.

Alison is growing up and become more and more sassy, but still has a heart of gold.

On Good Friday, I saw my husband accept Christ, that was a priceless moment for me.

Easter Sunday was great at church, the Easter bunny came so happy kids, and then my dad and stepmom came up for dinner, yummy brisket!

Charlie is taking his TAKS Test all week and I am sure that he will Ace them, and today's test was his favorite subject "MATH" so not my kid, I hate math..

We that is everything, I think~!

Happy Anniversary to the Best Husband Ever!!!!

Twelve years ago on April 10, Craig and I were married... Can't believe it's been 12 yrs, seems like yesterday (well on most days, that is).. Craig and I have the same birthday and we got married on our birthday. Our colors where yellow and white, and flowers were daisies. The photo below is right after they pronounced us Husband and wife and the cake is our cake for this year that our friend made for us, it's a Almond Cake with Carmel Buttercream Filling, she did the basket weave like our wedding cake and added the daisy's like our wedding, it was perfect and taste do good...
